In a vlog by Thai artists Goy Arachaporn, Natty Nantanat, and Dream Apichaya, Thai Actors Mew Suppasit and Tul Pakorn shared details about their first meeting, relationship development, and the challenges of being a couple.
Mew and Tul, known for their roles in different Thai series, recalled how they first met at a modeling event 10 years ago. Mew, famous for “TharnType” with Gulf Kanawut, and Tul, known for “Together With Me” with Max Nattapol, shared their initial encounter at the event where everyone was serious and no one talked.
Tul said, “I went to be a model for my friend from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts. Chula. Mew was also there for his senior friend. Behind the stage, it’s like when we are on the runway. Everybody was very serious. Nobody talked.”
Mew added, “I arrived first. There were lots of chairs. I was sitting there alone because I was waiting for my friend. He arrived and came sitting next to me but there were lots of seats available.”
They recalled becoming comfortable with each other and staying together throughout the event. Tul mentioned wanting to talk to someone, leading him to sit next to Mew, and they spent the whole day together.
Due to Tul’s decision to pursue his master’s degree in the United States, their bond became even more profound. Mew disclosed, “I was the one who let him go at the airport.” During the time that he was in the United States, I traveled there three times to visit him.
Mew also revealed his excitement about his first birthday present from Tul, humorously noting that it was a hair dryer that Tul ended up using himself.
Tul expressed his desire to be open about their relationship despite public opinion. He said, “We reflected on a lot of things. From my side, I don’t think revealing my relationship is necessary. Public opinions are various. Well, we are this old. I don’t think I have to prove myself for anyone. If not now, then when?”
He continued, “The real world is harsher than I expected. They don’t know me but they want me to die. I think it’s time to get through this suffering about how others would judge me. I want you all to be able to express yourself. For those who are still narrow-minded, don’t judge other people from your expectations. Diversity is beautiful.”

Not only did Mew express his gratitude to their supporters, but he also conveyed his joy at having found his ideal partner. He made the following statement: “We have to admit that society has changed a lot, but in a positive way overall.” All of you are appreciated. I am grateful to society. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who is standing by to make our society a better place in every way. I have reached a stage where I am able to overcome the fact that I have to reveal myself or anything else; I have already gotten over it. Everyone is deserving of being loved in a manner that is unique to them. We are in a very fortunate moment. I am overjoyed to encounter my ideal companion.
An additional piece of advice that Tul offered to those who identify as gay was as follows: “There are still many people who are suffering from their family’s expectations, but I believe that it will be better in the long run.”
