‘Love Sick 2024,’ the eagerly awaited reboot of the beloved Thai BL (Boys’ Love) series ‘Love Sick: The Series,’ originally aired in 2014, is set to return with a fresh take. This new version seeks to preserve the charm of the original while adding new elements to captivate both long-time fans and new viewers.
On July 20, the production team announced that the drama would premiere this September and hinted at an exciting event planned for August 17th, just ahead of the pilot release. The cast features Almond Poomsuwan, Progress Passawish, Kati Ngamtanakijja, Phop Pongphop, NJ Deeprompt, Toto Thayawat, and more.
The series focuses on the developing love story between Noh, the president of Friday College’s music club, and Phun, the student council vice president. Phun faces a dilemma as his father insists he date his friend’s daughter. To gain his sister Pang’s support, Phun convinces her that he has a boyfriend. Noh, in need of funds for his music club, strikes a deal with Phun: he will pretend to be Phun’s boyfriend in exchange for the money. Initially hesitant, Noh agrees to help Phun, and their relationship, which begins as an arrangement, gradually deepens through shared experiences, ultimately blossoming into love.

Pun has a girlfriend, but his father wants him to date his friend’s daughter. Pun’s little sister Pang is obsessed with boys’ love. Pun needs to convince Pang that he has a boyfriend so that she can help talk their father around the idea of dating his friend’s daughter. So, he asked No to become his fake boyfriend in exchange for helping No raise funds for the Music Club. However, the fake relationship of these two seventeen-year-olds soon begins to feel real.
